Agreement to these terms

By using Useful Tool Ai you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. "We", "us" and "our" mean Useful Tool Ai; "you" means the person using it.

No account is required, so there is nothing to sign. Using the site is your acceptance.

What we provide

A free website whose tools run inside your own browser. The background remover downloads an AI model to your device and processes images locally; your files are not uploaded. Details in the Privacy Policy.

Because the work happens on your hardware, speed and quality depend on your device, browser and source image. We do not promise a particular result, processing time, or that any image will be cut out to your satisfaction.

Who may use the service

You may use Useful Tool Ai if you can form a binding contract where you live and are at least 16. If you use it for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

Personal or commercial work are both fine. No separate licence to buy, no watermark on results.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for what you do with the service. You agree not to:

• process images you have no right to use, including material infringing copyright, trademark or likeness rights;
• create or distribute material that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, or that promotes violence or hatred;
• use the output to deceive — fabricating evidence, impersonating someone, misrepresenting a product;
• attack, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site or its servers;
• scrape, mirror or resell the service, or wrap it in another product as your own;
• abuse the contact form with spam, bulk or automated submissions;
• remove, obscure or alter any notice of ownership.

We may block anyone who breaks these rules, without notice.

Your images and content

Your images remain entirely yours. We claim no ownership, licence or rights of any kind over the files you process — straightforward, since they never reach us. You keep every right in the original and own the result.

You are responsible for holding the rights you need, and for how you use the output. Keep your own copies of important files: we store nothing, so we cannot recover one for you.

Anything you send through the contact form is handled under the Privacy Policy.

Our content and brand

The website — its code, design, text, illustrations, logo and the Useful Tool Ai name — belongs to us and is protected by intellectual property law. You may use the service as intended, but not copy the site, reuse its design or content elsewhere, or use our name and logo to suggest we endorse you, without written permission.

Third-party components

The tools rely on open-source software and publicly published AI models your browser downloads from their host. Those components come from their own authors under their own licences and warranties, and we provide them as they are. Your browser, device and connection are also outside our control.

Availability and changes

The service is free and offered without any guarantee of availability. We may change, suspend, limit or discontinue any part of it at any time, with or without notice, and may update these terms as described below.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that results will meet your requirements. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, files or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability for all claims is limited to the amount you have paid us, which for a free service is zero.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, liability or expense — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of the service, from content you process with it, or from your breach of these terms or anyone else's rights.

Termination

You can stop using Useful Tool Ai at any time by closing the page; there is no account to delete. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service. The sections on your content, our content, warranties, liability, indemnity and governing law survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Useful Tool Ai is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that country have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a provision once is not a waiver of it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The "Last updated" date always shows the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. If you do not, stop using the service.
